Questions about insurance? All the Insurance Documents are in the SCORA File Cabinet

SCORA Paddlers:  All paddlers, escort skippers, coaches, and any others who participate in your club's paddling program need to complete a 2010 Release of Liability Form PRIOR to participating.  Submit all original forms to SCORA; we recommend you keep a copy for your club's records, too.

Visiting Paddlers:  All visiting crews must be from a recognized club and/or association and have proof of their own insurance as is required by Race Rule §3.2.1.  Also, it is imperative that each member of a visiting crew, its coaches, skippers, any person on its escort boat, and any person who accompanies that crew in any capacity sign a SCORA Release of Liability form.

Visiting crews that are members of HCRA need not provide proof of insurance on an individual basis because HCRA and SCORA provide proof of insurance to each other at the association level.  If you are from another association, and your association is interested in structuring a similar insurance agreement with SCORA, contact SCORA.

Group Tax Exemption Program

Contact SCORA Group Exempt Coordinator, Jeff Kiesel to inquire whether your club is eligible to participate in this program.
